Amie is an accomplished documentary filmmaker and digital rights activist. Her award-winning work has focused on giving voice to the margins, while pushing filmic conventions. From films focused on women workers and labor unions, to training young female HIV+ citizen journalists in Soweto, Amie’s work drives creative ideologies shaped for a globalized world in constant flux.
