Lupe Escobar is an educator with thirteen years teaching experience, the last eight with the Fullerton School District. Currently, she is a 2nd year Cotsen Fellow. She earned her Masters of Science in education with an emphasis in educational technology from Cal State Fullerton in 2011. Lupe is a teacher in a 1:1 Apple laptop classroom environment at Valencia Park Elementary School, An Apple Distinguished Program School. She actively implements innovative and creative strategies to engage her students. The use of technology and its power to facilitate and deepen student learning drives her to transform her teaching to meet the needs of her 21st century learners.
